Description

This lovely commission was of The Bothy on the Glen Dye estate in Aberdeenshire — a gorgeous spot owned by the Gladstones and clearly the source of some very happy holiday memories for the couple who asked me to draw it.
They wanted those memories captured on paper, and when I handed over the finished piece… well, let’s just say his face lit up like he’d been reunited with an old friend. He told me it’s wonderful to finally have something on the wall that actually means something — which is pretty much the best compliment an artist can get.
Safe to say: mission accomplished and hearts warmed.
